1,000 mph Bloodhound SSC

The team that broke the sound barrier on land are at it again, this time aiming for 1,000 mph or 1,609 kmh in new money. Andy Green will again be piloting it if it does get built. Based on their past records, I won’t advise on betting against them.

I’m not a huge fan of Abarth but I have to admit, the scorpion motif is tasty and I want one.

Gizmodo Review of Pioneer AVIC-F10BT In-Dash Satnav System
November 24, 2009 · Leave a Comment
You can get the top of the range Pioneer AVIC on the street for about AU$2,500, that’s a lot of money but then you get a lot of functionality. This will be great for those of us who have an older model car and would like to get Bluetooth and iPod connectivity, Sat Nav and even a reversing camera.

Porsche takeover will make Volkswagen world’s number one
November 23, 2009 · Leave a Comment
After the unsuccessful takeover bid of Volkswagen by Porsche, Volkswagen is now reversing the bid and taking over Porsche to form the world’s largest automaker. Will we be seeing Porsche hatchbacks or Volkswagen roadsters? Or even a mid engined V10 Porsche? Whatever the outcome, it’s great news for Porsche fans. While Volkswagen as a group brings the average fuel consumption down to meet Euro CO2 requirements, Porsche will still be able to produce fire breathing 911 Turbos. A Win win for all involved I’d say.
